Where are your photos stored?

In object storage in Nuremberg, backed up every night to Helsinki. Both in the EU.

JPEG, PNG, WebP and HEIC with preview. TIFF, PSD and RAW are accepted and delivered as files, without preview.

How large can a job be?

piqio is built for batches of about 1,000 photos at 20 MB each. The limit is your storage, not the number of photos.

What if your client does not answer?

After five days without approval piqio reminds her by email. You can switch this off per link.

Does piqio recognise faces?

No. Face recognition is biometric processing, and piqio does not do it.

What does closed beta mean?

Seats go to individual studios. If you are on the waitlist, you get an email as soon as a seat opens.

Your photos stay in the EU.

1Uploads go straight into storage in Nuremberg. The application server never sees an original.
2Every night a backup goes to a second data centre in Helsinki, write-protected for 30 days.
3No face recognition, no sorting by person. That stays that way.
4Links expire and can carry a password. No name appears in the address.
